Maritime Medical Design is Atlantic Canada's only medical and scientific design studio.
Services provided include custom medical illustrations and scientific visuals, Flash animations, presentations, publications and medical and scientific consulting.

Maritime Medical Design is owned and operated by Monique Guilderson, a professional medical and scientific illustrator. She completed her specialized training at the University of Toronto with a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Communication from the Faculty of Medicine. Monique is currently back in school training to become an Osteopath. Her long term goal is to combine her visual talents with the rewarding field of Osteopathic medicine.

Ms. Guilderson began her career working at a medical publishing company in Toronto and as an instructor at the University of Toronto. Since 2001, Monique has lived and worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
